Are Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds really trying to pacify Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan
Freedman? If I recall correctly, it was Lively’s team that brought the public into this situation. So why are they upset about the release of the behind-the-scenes video? Isn’t this what they wanted – for the court of public opinion to weigh in on the matter?
Initially, Team Lively complained that Baldoni’s PR team was spreading stories about her after she raised concerns about sexual harassment. However, none of the videos circulating online were fabricated. In fact, people are annoyed by things Lively herself said. Instead of playing the victim, it might be better for her to acknowledge her mistakes, apologize, and move forward with the case independently.
While I didn’t see any signs of sexual harassment in the raw footage, I wasn’t on set and don’t want to invalidate her experience. There are always three sides to every story, but if you bring the case to the court of public opinion, you can’t control people’s reactions. It’s best to let the legal process unfold.
